Benedictine Monastery of Tabgha - Our Community at the Sea of Galilee

We live as a small benedictine community at Tabgha, a place on the northwest shore of the Sea of Galilee, where more than 1500 years ago a first church reminded of the multiplication of bread an fish by Jesus.

We take care of the new church which was built in 1982 in the old place and attend to pilgrims and guests visiting this holy place.

In our meeting place, especially in the newly built House "Beit Noah", we give to groups of handicapped people, children and young people opportunity to spend some time of vacation.
